marajuana breath tests have been said by the scientific community to be extremely expensive, large, nearly impossible as a thing to give to officers or even police stations: THEY HAVE NOT IGNORED THE OPPORTUNITY - this is scientific fact that has been known since at least the 1980's

ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU NO RESEARCH HAS BEEN DONE YET - IS A FUCKING LIAR. ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU IT'S PROBABLY AN EFFECTIVE IDEA: IS A LIAR



at best you could measure smoker's breath - but not marajuana. that is the core problem. you can't use an inaccurate instrument "15% to 50% inaccurate" (like chinese covid19) to arrest someone. it just isn't allowed

also - we know if they get funding they will steal it and import some chinese flim flam device that has stickers and buttons and labels and doesn't do it's job, and usa will get it's ass sued off in court

and guess who might get a fabless electronic project (california non-tech firms who specialize in importing flim flam chinese stuff - they don't actually make anything, they just say they are tech firms)

In a sense, this is really necessary. But usually this drug is used at home. There is no point in this.
