It is bile. You might have some type of infection or other intestinal issue that is causing your waste to pass quicker than normal through the digestive tract, thus not allowing time for the bile to break down. It could also be a sign of issues with your liver. When I first was diagnosed with liver failure my bowel movements had been greenish for a while.

I didn’t eat anything green the day before. I think it may be liver problems because I used to drink a lot in my younger years.

Gatorade Fierce Grape is purple, and yet it makes my poo bright green. You're overthinking it. You ate or drank something with lots of coloring in it and it didn't have to be something green.

Every time I eat Fruity Pebbles and Fruit Loops, the colors combine and I have green shits! Also, sometime when I eat Carvel icecream cakes, with the blue frosting, I also have colorful shits!

Oh no, I just shit green again, but there was also some blood. Not a good sign.

I often have green poop around Saint Patrick's Day. It's kind of sentimental.

That is definitely not a good sign. That is one of reasons I went to hospital when I got admitted and diagnosed with liver failure. I was pissing blood out of my ass. Got scared and went to the emergency room. I had serious internal bleeding caused by my liver failure.

Seriously, if you were/are a heavy drinker go to the doctor. Ask them to do EGD, which will look at you upper GI tract. They will be able to see swollen veins in the lining of the esophagus caused by liver cirrhosis. That is what I had and they were bleeding. They also did a scope of my lower GI, basically a colonoscopy, but didn't see anything to worrisome.

I too often have green poop around St. Paddy's day. It seldom lasts more than a day or so, but sometimes as much as a week.

The usual brown color of excrement is due to a leftover mix of dead red blood cells and waste from the bacteria in your bowels. you shouldn’t ignore green poop that’s accompanied by other symptoms.

Up where the grass grows (grass grows, duh dut)

Oh it's so comfortable to take a shit;
So please, oh please don't resist it;
When you GOTTA take a shit;
JUST GOTTA take a shit;

GO TAKE IT NOW!
