And by historians, you mean educated people with advanced degrees in history who do extensive research on, and write at length on, scholarly peer reviewed analysis on facets of history? OK, let’s go with that. Nancy tore up the sheet after the speech. Let’s look at the speech from a historian's perspective.
These “historians” you refer to are OK with the President during the State of the Union giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh, a person who has hijacked and distorted US history (Thanksgiving, Paul Revere, the Continental Congress, the 19th Amendment, etc.) to put money in his pockets while creating division in the populous? These historians are OK with the President honoring a person who has insulted great Americans because they are not white, or Conservative? Historians don’t care this honoree lies for political gain, and is paid under the table to be an unofficial spokesperson for the petroleum institute? And on a non-Rush note, these “historians” are cool with Trump misrepresenting his predecessor’s accomplishments in his speech at least 15 documented times, while minimalizing his horrible record of keeping top staff?
Nancy tearing up the paper is in its own bubble, according to you and "historians," and we should never juxtapose tearing up those pages of the speech pre-transcripts with the actual contents of the speech. That ould be disengenuious, right?
Nancy, tearing up paper, is far worse than anything Trump said or did that night, according to you and "historians." Really?
Seriously, where did you go to college?
