I loath FAcebook because its ignorance on steroids. Friends posted pics of themselves yesterday at a crowded bar pressing their faces together getting drunk. The getting drunk part I understand but why go to a crowded bar now? Cant you wait a few weeks or months to get fucked up in public? Of course they are Trump supporters.

well your friends are assholes. The sick and elderly will suffer as people do shit like this. My dad is 90 and I have friends with very sick kids that will die if exposed. Its one thing to want a beer, and certainly people need to go to work and shop but to go and party and shove your face next to other drunks is just an example of selfish ignorant behavior.

guns? What are you talking about? Ive got my 20 gauge from when I was 8 yrs old and my Remington 870 12 gauge in the bedroom closet. I shot target competitively in HS. Also I was first in my class in undergrad Anatomy and Cell Bio. Why are you so angry?

Its misguided to think that continuing to gather at densely packed social gatherings is a good idea - it isnt. The big issue is not if but how fast Covid-19 spreads. We are all, each one of us, going to be infected. What is at issue is our ability to care for the critically ill. Those of us who react poorly to the virus or are sick for some other reason will need critical care. There will not be nearly enough hospital beds if the virus spreads quickly. If we can slow down transmission over a longer period of time it may save millions of lives.
