If I am camping in an RV, and get drunk, can I be arrested?

Ive borrowed Verified's RV many times to ply underage Spring Onion with 'Jesus juice' many many times. Officers are usually very understanding so long as they know you are entertaining, playing Kenny G sets the mood and eases tensions with local law enforcement

If you are on public property and you are drunk you can be arrested for drunk in public. DUI if the engine is running or key in the ignition.
There is no "test" for drunk in public(DIP). An officer simply needs to make the judgement that he thinks your drunk or that suspects you're under the influence. Never admit to drinking alcohol to a police officer. Avoid the answer by asking a question back.

In Virginia and many states they key merely has to be inside the car or on your person not 'in the ignition.' Hide the key and tell them a friend took it or you lost it if you want to avoid DUI. Most cars require keys to start the engine. So, the location of the keys is important for assessing whether the driver was operating or in actual physical control of the vehicle. If the driver didn't have keys readily accessible, a jury might be unwilling to convict. But a driver who had the keys within reach or in the ignition won’t likely fare well with this issue at trial.
I have a friend who got a DUI sleeping in the back of his conversion van while parked on the street. He was asleep on a mattress in the back of the vehicle (drunk) with the keys in his pocket.
