(in normal amounts tear gas is not allowed in wars but is allowed for crowd control - it is relatively non-life threatening*)

HONG KONG GOVERNMENT - WHICH IS AT ODDS WITH CHINA OVER 100yr ruling agreement**, CLAIMS PROTESTORS ARE NOT ONLY DEMANDING CHINA STAY OUT BUT THAT AN OVERTHROW OF THE GOVERNMENT IS NEEDED FOR FREEDOM

(protestors "got what they wanted" china hasn't invaded the gov didn't sign over to china, but there still remains allot of unrest and ??? un-employed - un-employed in hong kong seems impossible it's a small place that exports oodles of stuff)

** the 100yr agreement for England's rule of the area in exchange for 'modernize it' with China. now that the 100 is up hong kong wishes to not be a part of either governments of course. who didn't know that. who wins and looses: likely gov workers in HK intend to clean up on 100 yr of profit. likely they will "spend until they drop" until HK is made in china.

google: Tear Gas vs. Pepper Spray. The two biggest differences between tear gas spray and pepper spray are their chemical makeup and delivery methods.

(that's everthying duh!!! i hate millenials. the difference is they aren't anything alike)

Reports of expired tear gas canisters picked up by protesters in Egypt led to theories that it could be more toxic, but Steve Wright of Leeds Metropolitan University said if enough time has elapsed that the chemicals have broken down inside the can, then it makes the canister less effective.[14] However, a study carried out by Mónica Kräuter, a Venezuelan professor of Simón Bolívar University, collected thousands of tear gas canisters fired by Venezuelan authorities in 2014, showed that 72% of the tear gas used was expired and noted that expired tear gas "breaks down into cyanide oxide, phosgenes and nitrogens that are extremely dangerous" (HOPEFULLY TEAR GAS IS MADE FRESH IN HONG KONG)
