I’m not an alcoholic

I haven’t had a drink in 14 weeks! That is probably the longest stretch since 15-16 years old. I’m quitting for someone in household and it just sucks!
Sometimes you get in a mood, good or bad, maybe ur with some friends, a family gathering...and I look at the bitch and say...YOU FUCKING BITCH!

Great that you are currently controlling your drinking. Quitting for someone else isnt quitting its just a suspension of use until a time in the future when that person is gone or you decide to no longer honor your decision regarding that person.

Recognizing you are powerless against alcohol and that if you ever do start drinking again you will find it hard or impossible to stop is the first step in recovery. You might find it useful to acknowledge you are powerless over alcohol if that is the case. Lots of meetings in this area all times of ever day of the week. Go to a meeting and share your success this past 3 months - you may inspire others and save someone's life.

Don't quit because of somebody else bitching. Quit for yourself. Realize there are other ways to escape.
