Thats easy. The only people who want to see them have malicious intent just like the Russia hoax/coup. Trump has the right to keep his personal business private like every other citizen. He rightly understands that to defeat the swamp they must be fought, resisted and destroyed.

Kinda like how republicans would if it were a democrat in office, right? Difference is Trump has a confirmed history of committing fraud and tax evasion.

Because he's got something to hide. He's a walking talking something to hide. Trump hides something even when there is nothing to hide. It's a mix of stupidity and incompetence and entrenched criminality.

Trump is dying to be loved by any celebrity, which would probably explain Kanye and Kim going to the White House

Trump was asking a NYT reporter if it was too much to ask to get one positive story from his hometown paper. He enjoys the support he gets from his rabid racists but they don't mean much to him. What he really wants is to be embraced and cheered by the more dignified Americans of the left.

Fourth amendment, bill of rights:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Thing is, Trump is not a private citizen. He asked (begged) for his current job. It comes with certain responsibilities and other drawbacks, and part of that is a certain transparency when it comes to finances, especially when his claim to fame is "being really, really rich", and otherwise being some sort of financial genius.

But the whole idea of Trump wanting to "protect his privacy" is one of the stupidest arguments I have ever hear a Trumper make. Trump's whole life is a monument to the "look at me" form of narcissism that you see every time you pass the tabloid rack at the supermarket.

And that narcissism is exactly why Trump's lack of transparency is so telling. If Trump's taxes were even relatively clean, and supported his otherwise uncorroborated claims of great wealth, he would demand their publication. "Look at me, see how wealthy I am" Yet, he doesn't.

Tells you everything you need to know.

I would not have any problem with that, especially with elected federal officials. Of course, we all have a good idea what a GS-13 makes, and that GS-13 did not get his job by convincing his prospective employers that he had amasses great wealth based on his superior business acumen.

Bottom line is that Trump sold his supporters what is likely a load of total bullshit, and the Trumpers bought it hook, line and sinker. If Trump is as rich what he says, and his wealth was legally obtained, he is too narcissistic to not brag on it. Shit, he'd be bitching about how unfair it was if the MSM didn't put those beautiful financial documents on every front page around. But, he does not do that.

P. T. Barnum was right. Trump is proof.

You will note I agreed with the idea that Democrats should be required to be financially transparent. Including, for what it is worth, the Clintons, although the only people who still give a shit whether they live or die are Trumpers. I do not understand your anger.

You know, this constant deflection to Hillary is getting really pathetic. As you say, she lost TWO FUCKINK YEARS AGO.

Trump is hiding something, almost certainly something big. And most of you guys have figured it out, but you don't have the creative intelligence or the moral compass to adapt. So you blame a crooked has been for yours, and your idols', failings. Bodes well for our future.

OP and Democrats support anarchy and destruction of liberty. Civil rights is just another slogan to them.

If you want to know how much a federal employee makes, go to https://www.fedsdatacenter.com/federal-pay-rates/ and search for them. If they are federal LEO, DoD or intel, they won't be in there for reasons of security. But pretty much everyone else is.

And, per usual, you are a fucking idiot who is wrong. The Mueller team saw all of Trump's tax records as part of their investigation. There is nothing there. The only reason the libfags want them is to embarrass Trump.

Trump doesn't have to play ball with the assholes investigating him. He doesn't give up his constitutional rights when he becomes president. No one blamed Hillary for trying to hide evidence and tell people to lie. It was the investigators and prosecutors who should have been held accountable to allowing her to get away with it.

And the reason Hillary was brought up was because you douche bags can't get over the fact that she's not president. Move on for gosh sakes. It's over. Barring something now unforeseen, Trump will be president for the next 5½ years. Are you pussies gonna whine for 8 straight years?

Speaking of slogans, you just recited yours perfectly. Gold star. Those voices in your head (Limbaugh, Hannity) will be very proud.

It is interesting that the Trumpers won't defend Trump on this. Best excuse I have heard for Trump's concealment of his finances is that he is a "private person". Which is bullshit. First, Trump has the same desire for privacy that the Kardashians do. Second, he is too narcissistic to not take every opportunity to show the world how great he is, and in his world wealth is the only measure of greatness. If they supported his narrative, he would release them.

Trumps aversion to transparency is certainly understandable if he has been lying about his wealth all along. But the Trumpers don't have that excuse. And if the best response they can give to legitimate questions as to the qualifications of the man they wanted to be President specifically claimed to have is either a slogan (Phlhh, above) or by changing the subject to small time crooks who were lucky to get out of Arkansas ( uh hu, above), you have to wonder about their competency to exercise the basic functions of an American citizen.

That is hilarious.

First, the scope of Mueller's appointment did not reach his taxes. If Mueller found anything, he would have referred it to SDNY. Which, if I was Trump, would be of great concern.

Second, "nobody blamed" Hillary? Trump, and his millions of acolytes, have spent the last few years doing nothing but that. Don't blame Hillaryfor the fact your side is so inept that they can't successfully prosecute a woman so obviously guilty.

Trump is a classic con man. He wants you to buy something, in this case his credentials, without you looking at them. C'mon, Trumpers, you would not buy a used car without getting it checked out. Trust is earned. And with Trump, you are dealing with a man more than capable of fraudulent conduct.

Stop being sheep

Incorrect. Mueller 100% did look at Trump's taxes. He looked at all the financial records of Trump, Trump's charity and the records of Trump's family. That was within the purview of the initial collusion investigation.

You don't know anything and spew utter nonsense. Either you make it up as you go along or you get it from the morons on CNN.

Continue to embarrass yourself here. You've got nothing and are easily shown to the be uninformed idiot that you are.

If I was Trump, I would work overtime to give the dems nothing they want.

Whatever. Thing is, they will come out, sooner or later. Things like that always do.

Since appeals to patriotism, honesty and common decency don't work, maybe Trump would find this appealing. If his taxes are clean, he will get to whoop it up in the face of all the libs who doubted his brilliance (not to mention basic integrity) by releasing them. We all know that the character trait that most clearly defines Trump, other than narcissism, is vindictiveness towards those who dare cross him. This would be a perfect opportunity, yet he declines it. Tells you everything you need to know
