"Lay up"? Seems that what people were saying about Hillary last time. And to be honest, the arrogance being shown by the Trumpkins (if it is not an act, a topic which I plan to explore in the near future) is very similar to how the Dems were acting in 2016.
Trump may have 90% of the Republican vote. There is no accounting for ignorance, although I suspect that Trump's support is a little squishy around the edges. My point is that libs can dilute that support by voting for Hogan, or whoever, in the primaries. It won't keep Trump from getting the nomination, but he will have to work harder for it, and every time he takes a shot at a fellow Republican during the primaries he is going to turn off at least some voters (Rinos) who would have otherwise voted for him in the general.
It should be great fun, as the best mischief usually is.
