Re: Would you ever touch a tv remote in a hotel room with your bare hand?

I don't even touch a TV remote control at my OWN house!
I prefer to sleep in my car rather than a hotel.
My own pillows and sleeping bag, with a nice
egg crate support for my back.
I'd rather breathe in whatever germs and crap are in
my own domain, rather than contaminate myself in a hotel.
The cocoon I make in the car is incredibly safe feeling.
Amd all that stuff gets cleaned in my own sanitizing machines at home.
I do use hotels to take a shit and shower.
But I treat it like a HAZMAT situation.
No part of my body actually touches ANYTHING whatsoever there.
It's not that hard --- you have your flip-flops (kept in a contaminzation
bag and not used many times anyway), your protective gloves, plenty
of sanitary paper, and lots of disinfectant wipes since you were
exposed to the air and other microscopic unavoidablrs.
And yes I sleep with a gun under my pillow,
in my blacked-out-but-doesn't-look-it car.
I have emergency chemical toiletries available too,
but only had to use that once, stranded in a blizzard enroute.
It was better than freezing my dick off and I just tossed it
out the window as far as I could. I keep all kinds of useful
junk in the car for traveling. Just pick the absolute cheapest
hotel/motel you can find, since you're only going inside for
less than an hour to shit/shave/shower when it's time to leave.
I can sleep, watch streaming TV, Internet, and have snacks
in my totally controlled comfortable (and sanitary!) environment.
Typical cost is $40/night on the online booking services.
That's a reasonable price to pay if you need a shower.
If you just need a toilet, you don't need a hotel at all, of course.
Just go to WaWa/Sheetz or all night Walmart etc.
This post has made me long for a nice road trip!
It's also making me a little sleepy thinking about the cocoon...
