from the associated press:

Steven "Pepsi" Johnson, born 1978 in Shreveport, Arkansas, died today of acute farfalotus of the blowhole. Steven, or "Pepsi" as his friends called him, was born in an abusive household, where he learned at a young age that "being delicious" and "the taste of a new generation" was a good way out of the ghetto. Pepsi signed a contract with The President in 1981, and quickly became the world's best-selling soft drink. He suffered a blow in the early 90's when he accidentally set Michael Jackson's hair on fire; he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. In his later years, Pepsi got addicted to drugs and had a stroke. After contracting farfalotus of the blowhole, Pepsi went into hiding and was not heard of until today, when he was pronounced dead at Our Sister of Mary Hospital in Portland, Detroit. Pepsi is survived by his daughter Crystal and wife Diet.

a) the game's name is Cool Spot
b) it was for Sega Genesis and Super NES (and some other platforms) but not for NES.
c) i remember it quite clearly.

I in fact still have it. It was a real fun game.

Royal Crown Cola was the shit. It just doesn't taste the same out of a Sam's Choice can:(

I much prefer Coke over Pepsi. I'd rather drink water.

I remember Pepsi Twist: one part pepsi, one part lemon, entirely shit.

RC was good. I fondly remember Tab too, and I still buy Cheerwine when I can find it.

The foreign market Coca Colas and Pepsi taste a hell of a lot better than what we have over here. The flavor is richer and doesn't have the watered down taste that is typical of fountain drinks.

YES! Right now Pepsi has the Throwback/Retro out. It has real sugar and tastes so much better than high fructose corn syrup.

The ones in the plastic bottles aren't all that great. The canned ones taste a lot better for some reason.

My fater inlaw has been drinking Mntdew daily since the 70s. His tastes have prob changed along with the change in the formula, however he doesnt remember MntDew tasting like the throwback. According to him, the modern dew tastes exactly the same as what he remembers from his youth.

Just leave them out by the refrigerator; the office slobs will take them. I do that with all my unwanted food. Ramen noodles, chips, drinks, they all get devoured if left unattended.

In South Florida, they have the best soda in the world--Manzanita Sol, apple soda. I've never seen it around here. Have you seen this nectar of the Gods? If you have any information on Manzanita Sol availability in the area, let me know.

I was just thinking about Crystal Pepsi. I was sad when they stopped making it. That was the only time I liked Pepsi. When I actually drank sodee pop, I liked Dr. Pepper, Sunkist, and the occasional Mountain Dew.

Remember the syringe scare in Colas in the early nineties? Turned out to be a disgruntled employee and a bunch of copycats looking to cash in on lawsuits.
