I will periodically buy a large package of ground beef, cook it up with peppers and onions and then freeze it in individual use bags. Knocks the time it takes to make Manwiches or a number of other dishes down to next to nothing, so it is quicker for me to cook at home than to order carry out.

my old roommate used to make his own. he would just squirt equal parts of ketchup and mustard into the fried meat and stir it up. that shit used to gross me out.

I cook up some of those frozen meatballs they sell at giant and put them in the manwich sauce with just a half pound of ground beef instead of the full pound the can recipe calls for. This makes kick-ass meatball subs served on baguettes, topped with shredded cheese and coleslaw.

That sounds good. I am going to make those tonight. Got to go to Safeway to get good baguettes though. Only thing good about Safeway is the bakery.

Manwich sauce makes a good glaze for meatloaf too. I use about a half a can on a 2 pound meatloaf. I mix a couple teaspoons of Texas Pete "hotter" hot sauce into the manwich sauce to give it a little kick then sprinkle half a cup of shredded mozzarella on top for the last 10 minutes of baking. It comes out real good.

Ha! Fuck yeah he does!
TJ is all about the man sandwich!
I've never seen someone so fascinated with penis as he is.

Mom was a fantastic cook but two "ordinary" things we never had as a kid were Ramen noodles and Manwich. I remember eating Manwich sandwiches a couple times, at my childhood, best friend, next door neighbors house, when I was like 8 years old. I thought they were pretty good; there were certainly a hell of a lot worse food items that I hated as a kid. I may just have to whip up a batch and see how it tastes.

Martins potato rolls are the only way to go with Manwich.

I make up three batches of manwich using 3 pounds of ground beef then put it in the crock-pot to simmer all day. Whenever anyone in the house is hungry they can toast some rolls in the toaster oven and chow down. I always serve them with chips and coleslaw too. Putting coleslaw on top of the manwich is good too.

Joe Biden says we should eat more Manwich and Hamburger Helper too! Just eat that stuff with cheap white bread and some margarine. You can save your money for the 6 dollar a gallon gas you will need to take your family vacation at the Best Western in Manassas.

Manwich meat does not reheat well in the microwave for some reason it explodes and shit. Got to reheat on the stove or just keep it in a small crock-pot till you are ready to eat.
