What’s a more pathetic way to ring in the new year, staying at home alone or going out to the bars alone?

The wife left me and took the kids with her. This will be the first New Years in 14 years I’ll be alone and I don’t know what to do with myself. I could either stay home and drink myself into a stupor or go out to the bars and drink myself into a stupor. I might go to the casino and pick up a prostitute afterwards.

Uber and hookers are going to be expensive and lots of cops out, stay home and take it easy. It's just another night, don't let it get to your head. Maybe try smoking a joint?
