Technically Trump did get the Dems to agree to the full 25 BILLION for the wall last Jan. but Trump killed the deal.

Its true they controlled everything and still had to submit an incomplete tax cut plan that is now adding a Trillion to the deficit each year. All don wanted was 25 Billion and the GOP couldnt get it to pass in the Senate where they enjoy a majority. Its sad to see the POTUS locked up in the WH for the Holidays wondering why he cannot build a wall. Sad. What is worse is Im sure this was explained to him dozens of times and he wont remember even hearing it once.

Maybe Rush or Sean will call him to chat and cheer him up. Im sure they have great advise for him.
