Crazy enough to work

Consider this. Biden/Kasich 2020

I can't wait for the Trumper responses, but think about it. At its' best, it unites everyone against Trump and the Trumpers. Last time, there were RINOs and independents who held their nose because they hated Hillary and voted for Trump. Take them out of the Trump "coalition" and the election turns out different.

The problem is the Dem left, they are sort of being cut out. But Trumpers are always saying that the only thing that motivates the left, especially the real far left, is hatred for Trump. So the problem can probably be managed.

I wonder how many voters Trump actually has in his base. Have fun

How does that work?
Biden is a democrat
Kasich is a republican

The ticket would use Dem party infrastructure. That is why Biden has to be on top. He can pick anyone he wants as long as the convention confirms

Forget it. Democrats will never accept a Republican on the ticket - nor should we. Kasich hides his Republican bona fides under a veneer of rationality, but we've learned our lesson; none of them can be trusted. Plus, Kasich has no interest in second place.

Depends on how bad you want to beat Trump. Both the Biden people and the Kasich people would have to commit. And the actual governing part would not go well. But you have to have priorities.

How about it, Trumpers? Would you win? If so, how?

This will never work. Biden’s dementia will be in full force by 2020

Agree. Lincoln did that. He abandoned the "Republican" name, ran as a "Union Party" candidate, and took a southern democrat as his VP.

He won, but it turned out to be a disaster. A lesser disaster than electing McLellan would have been, but a disaster nonetheless.

But the country's not as fucked up now like it was in in 1864. No need to do it. All they need to do is to keep pressing for the inevitable arrest of Trump, charges brought at the state level, asset seizures, and bringing the charges against his kids, who are 100% complicit.

No one needs a Kasich on a ticket to accomplish this.

Back in '16, I thought that would make a pretty cool ticket.

They're both pretty cool, Demos would like the Biden angle, and trumptardz would like Boehner because he's orange.

It used to be that whoever came in second in the presidential election became the vice president.
