I just so happened to be in Charlottesville for the rally last year to attend UVA’s football open house. I got caught up in between scuffles between the alt- righters and the counter protesters and I have to say it was a miracle only 3 people died. The right wing militias were heavily armed and I was walking to Bodos Begals when a group of BLM protesters heckled them hairspray ignited with lighters. The DC rally I can’t imagine would be worse but it still will be an absolute shit show.

Yes, I’m well aware of that. I was there. I still count them as a casualties caused indirectly from the rally. All the more, it’s a miracle no one was shit. CPD and the state police dropped the ball.
