Despite Steven being an unbeliever, god still loves him and blessed him with extraordinary knowledge. I pray for him as I pray for all unbelievers. Only through god can we advance as a species technologically, and god willing, we will continue to do so.

Almost 99% of men that have what he had die 5-10 yrs after diagnosis.

he taught allot of classes, was a popular teacher, while having to develop an electro-mechanical system that allowed him to work with his studies

You _know_ Steven had internet access and must have studied his particular medical issue: and had much money from his book sales and his salary.

That should tell you something about the credibility of doctors claiming they are on the edge of finding a cure.

it's also not true he never worked on anything "important" (ie, in conjunction with others, as a consulting or partner in finding answers)
