"spic" and "beaner" are not derogatory racial terms but cultural terms. Beaner was originally meant for people of mixed caucasian/indian descent from Mexico, but has been used interchangeably with "spic" which refers to anyone, white, mestizo or otherwise as someone originating from the Hispanic Culture.

Hispanic is no different than Irish, German, Polish, etc. Hispanics certainly can be white, and infact most "Hispanics" are white. Please educate yourself before you use bigoted terms on their meaning.

Clearly someone wasn't paying attention in his high school history class. Hispanic is no more a racial classification than American. There are Hispanics that are white, Native American/indian, Asian, Black, and there are Hispanics that are a mixture of these different groups, just as you would find in the U.S. Hispanic is a cultural rather than a racial classification for someone whose ancestry traces to the Central land and South American mainland.

Don't let the "White not of Hispanic Origin" and "Hispanic" box fool you. The separate legal classification is because our civil rights and anti-discrimination laws protect based on national origin as well as race.
