I recently found a green stone near a riverbed, amongst some weathered rocks ,it stood out distinctly, it has a sort of green leathery crust, it is attracted to a magnet and has a metallic interior. Now it is not a fungus or living organism that coats the stone but a "crust". I boiled it and the crust remains the same and does not peel. It is not a paint. The green color is sort of color that copper has when a patina forms. It is not copper. What do you think? A sort of meteorite? Thanks.
