Men and kilts
Posted by: VAgirl ()

Ok, so I was out and about last weekend and saw a dude wearing a kilt, a "utilikilt". What is with that? Speaking as a woman, wearing a skirt is not at all practical. Do men wear them so they can get by without wearing underwear? Discuss.

well VAg(In Real Life) im glad you asked. the only reason i can see for a man wearing a kilt would be for extra breathing room. maybe he is trying to boost his sperm count? i wouldnt consider them stylish but for boosting sperm count i would say they are practical. any one can go commando you dont need a kilt to do so.

Wtf would wear a skirt besides a girl? If I was in some Firefighter's Marching Band that had a kilt as part of a Uniform, or if I was in in the Celtic Festival in Ireland, than I'd wear one, but just strolling around town? Hell no.

Then again, if I can walk around in public like this (Leaving behind destruction, with the fire effects and all):

Any person in this country wearing a kilt and not part of some Celtic festival is an attention whore plain and simple that or he's a cross-dresser trying to be legit.

There were Scottish and Irish Folk Festivals regularly scheduled all across the country on the first weekend of November.

I would happily wear a kilt if it were socially acceptable 'round here.

Wearing a kilt is very manly and masculine thing to do. It takes balls to wear one. But you can't just wear a kilt with a t shirt and keds. No, you gotta wear the whole uniform thing to pass it off right.

You strike me as the type who wears panty hose, a bra and any other thing you can steal from the laundromats and friend's bathroom hamper that your greasy fat fingers can grasp. Any man who would admit to wearing a kilt so quick and freely like you just did reveals alot of your sordid psyche.

Put MrMephisto to the "almost a girl, but not quite there" section.

If men go around wearing plaid skirts in the wrong neighborhood, they run the risk of getting kilt.

I notice guys who wear kilts should have nice legs. Overly hairy or excessive veins take away the beauty of a kilt. Tight pantyhose would help to define the curvature of your legs and should be used when possible.

I've seen three dudes wearing kilts on the Metro in the last few years. The last one was on the platform talking to some hippy-looking chick. He had greasy, stringy hair, tatoos all over him, and looked like he just got off the bus from Burning Man. Don't know what to make of that.

There is a Utilikilt store in Old Town a couple doors down from the Union Street Pub, next to the Birkenstock store. Maybe that explains a few things.
