Busted: Terrorist Plot Against NYC's Times Square & Nearby Venues

Justice Dept announced arrests of 3 people in a plot to car bomb Times Square & shoot up nearby concert venues.
Arrestees include a Canadian citizen arrested in the US. He is cooperating and pleading guilty.
Other alleged perps include an American citizen based in Pakistan and arrested there; and a Philippine citizen who allegedly wired money for the plot and was arrested in the Philippines. Those two are awaiting extradition to the US.
All names of alleged perps make it sound like all three are Islamist (AKA Islamic supremacists).
Allegations are that one of the persons said that (paraphrasing here for all quotes that follow) "Times Square is always crowded, we have to car bomb that place." Also, arrestee said "my goal is to create another 911 or even bigger." Arrestee said "we have to use guns on concert venues and the like. That's how the guys in Paris killed so many."
Thanks to FBI and all involved law enforcement and intelligence agents.

What's really strange here is that the left and media tell us that it's the white supremacists (code for white people in general) that are the real terrorists and who we should fear. I could be wrong but the names mentioned above don't look like typical "white" names. Can someone help clear this up?

Do you mean Western European names? North Africans are White, and they could have names like the people arrested. Some Muslims are White, and they could have names like the people arrested. No such thing as a "typical White name."
