Wow, that is practically a stock photo of the Mid-Atlantic White Liberal Cuckoo Bird. Well done.
Their territory ranges from Fredericksburg, VA to Colombia, MD with heaviest concentrations in Reston and Alexandria, VA. They are characterized by:
-Decidedly androgynous appearance. They and their ostensibly male mate begin to look almost identical as they abandon their femininity, eschew makeup or ornamentation of any kind, shorten their hair and abandon any hope of being aesthetically pleasing just as their estrogen levels transfer into their ostensibly male cuckold mates, rendering them soft ugly and effeminate.
-Repetitive Squawking: Their mating squawk is often a humble-brag or a virtue signal about how much they CARE about things, about how they FEEL about things. Their annoying sounds betray their total lack of foothold in reality ... you see ... They live in bubbles and confirmation-bias reinforcing enclaves where their views are seldom challenged and often reinforced by their sister cukoos. They think they are smarter and more well informed than all other denizens of their habitat. Then, reality intrudes; tsunami events like the Trump election, which completely shatter their world view. Such events prove that THEY were wrong, that THEY were the idiots, that THEY do not understand the realities around them, that THEY were on the wrong side of it and they had no idea. They rationalize their errors by calling people names, assigning racist and unenlightened motives to wide swaths of their fellow inhabitants. They do so unironically, oblivious to the naked hypocrisy ad delusion that they proudly put on display. Their outer layer of self righteousness is nearly impenetrable.
They think they are clever when they march in groups to amplify, share, validate, and reinforce their mass delusions. Where they were once accusing people of wearing tin-foil hats and poo-pooing conspiracy theories on the right, now they are reduced to even more far-fetched conspiracy nutjob theories to explain why they were so wrong when they were so sure they were so correct in their political views.
The actively engage in cognitive dissonance as they accuse a president whose daughter converted to Judaism of being an anti-Semite without any irony. They accuse him of perversely sexualizing his beloved and successful adult daughter ... because that's whats in THEIR hearts) They squealed when anyone breathed a word about Chelsea Clinton or the Obama daughters, but they gleefully screech horrible things about Trump's 10 year old son. They unironically call Trump a xenophobe when he has had more than one wife who was a legal immigrant.
