That's not happening and not going to happen.
Solar isn't even a significant component within renewables.
Even less if you consider energy consumption including transportation (i.e., oil):
The main reason for lower coal use has nothing to do with "global warming" but rather competition by cheap nat gas. When nat gas prices rise, which they will, coal use will again rise. Solar and other renewables also don't function well to fuel large base-load plants so coal and gas are even harder to displace given that they comprise the largest plants. Nuclear now is dead so coal/gas also will make up that gap going forward for the foreseeable future.
