50" of rain and we're fucked too. Not as bad since there's more high ground here but areas which aren't would be done.
Used to happen around here more. That's why every creek larger than a small stream that you see here has been bulldozed and rip-rapped and there are catch basin around any large development and in strategic drainage areas. After Hurricane Camille in '69 and Agnes in '72 wiped out things they did that so that it wouldn't happen again. But we've added tons more paved areas which greatly increases run off and more development in lower-lying areas so...
Hurricane Agnes was only 8"-18" around here. Everything near any river or other low area was flooded. 4 Mile Run, Huntington, Occoquan, Cameron Run, Difficult Run, Georgetown, Alexandria, etc., all were under water.
