Are Trump supporters really this delusional to believe any bit of this? Don't get me wrong, as a Republican, I'm glad we have control of virtually every branch of government, but Trump is completely squandering the dominance of the GOP in the US government. His approval ratings are abysmally low, especially in the battleground states which can make or break an election campaign. Not a single piece of meaningful legislation has been passed under this administration. The push to repeal Obamacare has been a miserable failure, Trump has made a mockery of the office and the party along with the country is more fractured than ever. Trump could not even denounce neo-nazism out of the gate. Literally the easiest thing for ANY politician to do, and he still fucked it up. We'd have been better off electing Kasich or Rubio. It wouldn't have been an exciting election, but I believe we still would have won, and would have been governed better.

The VP candidates were not that bad, though, except, of course, for the Greens. While the Democrats, Republicans and even the Libertarians are still salvable (but for how much longer?), there is not much to be done for the Greens.

Okay. He also got like 5% of GOP primary votes. And his path to victory was for the powers that be to completely disregard any notion of democratic procedure, tell the voters to go fuck themselves, and install kasich as an unelected tyrant candidate. By even pursuing this kind of strategy he confirmed himself an enemy of constitutional, law abiding citizens attempting to participate in a legitimate and peaceful political process. If you still liked the guy after that, there is no doubt you voted for Hillary.
