Trick or Treater's

We only had 14 trick-or-treater's this year and I'm pissed. After buying three
huge bags of candy from Costco I'm going to be stuck eating those Reese's
Peanut Butter Cups all by myself. Just out of curiosity, how many kids did you
have stop by last night?

I had a total of around 50-60 I dare say. We managed three to four pieces of candy per kid, and we still have two bowls leftover.

Not many. I was especially disappointed by the older kids. I left a big ass bucket of candy unattended and came back home to find there was still candy in it. A LOT! Very surprising.

Being vague is almost as fun as that other thing.

I'd never leave a thing of candy out and unattended. I know that there's a kid somewhere that would dump the entire thing into their bag.

From what I could guess, the rainy weather, combined with the H1N1 virus scare, definitely made for a low turnout. Earlier in the day, I did see kids in costumes, at different shopping centers where candy was being given out.

Finally, don't feel so bad, I didn't have any trick-or-treaters stop by at all last night! :(

I guess we had around 50 or so. After we took our granddaughter around ( 2 1/2 ) we let her give candy out. She had more fun doing that.

I didn't get one trick-or-treater at my home in the last two years. This year, we didn't bother buying any more candy and had planned on just giving out what we already had... but instead we got to keep it all. There are a few schools and tons of kids in my neighborhood, it's ridiculous. Parents need to get over Stranger Danger on Halloween and take their kids out, not everyone is a pedophile, I know I'm not!

And as for Swine Flu, I heard that there were parents who took their kids out trick-or-treating, but made the kids throw away all their candy due to "exposure". What a horrible tease and waste of candy.

Halloween is my favorite time of the year and this just makes me so sad...
