Definitely a weird situation but the reporters are surprised that no one had contacted her yet about her kid. That's not their fault, and it would be stupid to just walk away and not do an interview at that point. They can report on a bank robbery, so they minimize the unlawful offense that occurred, but focus on the threat the police are for chasing the get away car at high rates of speed.

I've watched the clip and didn't see any ambushing or twisting of facts. In fact, the reporter didn't even provide commentary. Its not even edited. I don't get why you guys are whining about it unless it's because she said her son was going to a Trump rally. Which isn't that bad, even David Duke asserted that it was a rally for Trump.

Any parent that has a kid that drives his car into a crowd sees the warning signs. Her son tried to beat her up many times. She is a wheelchair. She should of said, "No car for you, I am breaking the trust."
