Lucky for Trump, Manafort only had a small role in the campaign and they hardly know each other.

The FBI is tracking the money in the Trump campaign and it looks like they are finding all sorts of wonky transactions. The new warrant was issued for "all transactions RELATED to, but NOT LIMITED to"

Remember Trump used a lot campaign money to pay off some people during the campaign including the chic in Florida he had a problem with.

Trump's "do anything to win" is now catching up to him.

Manafort is "cooperating" to some degree with the feds, attempting to save his own skin. They got him and he knows it.

The way it works is you have a house in Florida with all your records but doing banking in some foreign bank like Grand Cayman or Bahamas.

It use to be almost impossible to track the money because it was done in face to face meetings but now the FBI can track it because of new laws after 9/11.

A raid on personal house is VERY serious stuff. It means the FBI could show cause to get a search of a private home.

Mueller must of found some hidden information that led him to the search warrant. Expect more houses/storage places to be searched.

The FBI doesn't do search warrants on private residences unless the FBI is following a trail of something. The men in blue take their jobs very serious.

FBI agents aren't community college rejects, they are highly educated and methodical.

The questions what did they get from Manaforts home and what led them to raid it.

The 'men in blue' are government cops. I know many. Some are serious, some not so much. SAs aren't the second coming of Sherlock Holmes. Most are good, competent investigators. They go where they're told to go and do what they're told to do. They get bossed around by their supervisors, just like everyone else.

It's not that hard to get a search warrant to search a suspect's home, especially if you're a special counsel/prosecutor. That is who is running this, not the FBI.

In the pecking order of federal LE, the FBI is not at the top of the heap. Ask any SS agent what the pecking order is.

Don't read too much into this. There have been so many nothing burgers over the past 8 months and the odds are 50/50 at best that this is more than just another one of those.

This is about Manaforts lobbying efforts for Turkey and his failure to disclose as a foreign agent.

You should be reading ALOT into the raiding of a Trump Campaign staffer house at that high a level.

I know the FBI, I've worked with them, they don't just execute search warrants on phishing expeditions. Most likely looking for personal finance records and possible documentation on Russian connections, phone numbers and names.
