Trump absolutely must hire his constituents at an unfair rate - to such a point they are a "new power", which is exactly what his opponents did to him, to recover. Reagan "phone calls asking to dems to stop stealing" didn't work, and won't now.

A Trump policy of noodle whipping absolutely will not work, and I question the loyalty of any adviser suggesting to trump that asking for voting records would be productive. You cannot ask a rich criminal for his records, or the criminal to indict himself while prosecuting him/her. Obviously you'd have to seize the records, is the example.
Ronald Reagan and Alan Greenspan expressed regret on Reagan's noodle whipping of the United States Post Office. They began illegally running a debt though their charter forbid it. Reagan called them and said "run on proceeds of stamps only". Democrats told Reagan "ok" then doubled down. Reagan regretted it in hindsight.
There is no such thing as "applying law" to so many unruly politicians. What would George Washington do? GW did not trust Congress and we all know why. Also he did not try to resolve his "problems" by asking Congress members to submit incriminating information to him ... absolutely won't happen. Mass arrests - won't work.
Being honest and re-destributing to your constituents, not lying about it: works.
Dems have shown no remorse in running communist "county" governments and hiring illegals.
There is simply no choice as to if "asking for data or applying self-inflicted penalty" would work: they'll just borrow more. THAT WON'T WORK.

"redistribution of wealth" is a democrat term. but what they do is to hire illegals for votes, which then turns into corrupt politics and some illegals with luxury homes. rich politicians and skilled workers on min. wage: factory closures.
no doubt some dems "help build more strip malls and mass housing" ... but at the expense of denizens doing the same damn thing better !
there are now literally shitloads of politicians, friends and families of, lawyers in VA, country workers who are rarely at work at all!: making OUTRAGEOUS checks
the only way to balance checks in that scenario is to intently inflate the checks (while capping the debt value, keeping the total effect towards flat inflation)
