Emerson once said this about folks like Hillary

"Inconsistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." I think that is apt for Hillary (and even Bernie) who both have a great history of doing so. Just a thought for your day.

Let's see how many ways you fucked this up.

First, the quote is "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds".

Second, the meaning of the quote is that someone who has a great mind, not a little mind, is not bothered by minor inconsistencies. Life is too complicated to be "foolishly consistent" when faced with it.

Third, you're an idiot Trumper.

Did the OP say Ralph Waldo Emerson???? He could have meant Bobby Emerson his neighbor, or Felicia Emerson a family friend. Maybe that was their quote!!!! Dumb as frozen shit Libtards will always jump to a conclusion no matter what the facts do or don't say. Sick of it already.

Ralph Waldo Emerson was spot on if he said Hillary sucked it.

Could be Emerson Lake and Palmer made a "forgotten 45" about it years ago and mentioned the initial quote. Really can't tell about such things.

I'm sure if we look hard enough, we'll find another guy named "Emerson" who said the quote that the OP posted. I mean, two guys with the same last name, both writing something that's nearly identical, although opposite in meaning? It could happen.

All they have left is criticizing old sayings.

Hell! Trump got elected President! That is something the Liberal press said would never ever happen, in a million years. Emerson could be a first name like Emerson Hollingsworth Morse, the great circus barker from the 1920s.

Henry Hazlitt said that in his book "Thinking as a Science". The quote can be found in on page 108, "prejudices"
