Any "decent" Hockey Player? I doubt it. You have to be talented and dedicated to do something like that, which goes far above "decent". I used to be a decent Ice Hockey player myself, (I was exceptional at Defense though, no one could score goals on me), but to do something like what this kid just did, I have no idea how much practice it would take to get to that level.
This little guy is more like the talented Hockey Players you see up in Alaska, and Canada. They start out skating at about the same time which they walk, and by the time they're High School age, they can blow the skates off of "Decent" players even twice their age.
This is front page news up in Vancouver as well, and they're calling it "Amazing Talent".
Someone from the Portland league where the kid hails from, claims that he scored 120 Goals last Season.
Go figure as well, the kid's from Maine. It also seems that his father is the GM of the Team.
Anyway you put it though, this is exceptional for a 9 Yr. Old.
