sheesh, do we really want President Pence. He adds some sanity to the WH, but he's like a Ted Cruz clone.

An ecstatic Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said Tuesday that new reports suggesting President Trump pushed the FBI to drop a probe into former national security advisor Michael Flynn bring Congress a long step closer to impeaching the president.

“That’s absolutely fantastic. It is so good!” Waters said, getting onto an elevator in the Capitol basement on her way to vote on the House floor.

“This helps to cement the deal.”

Asked what deal she was referencing, Waters didn’t hesitate.

“Impeachment!” she said, pushing the elevator button.

No, of course we don't want a hyper religious, obsequious nutjob like Pence, but I don't think we'll get him. He's not clean on this, either. If rumors are to be believed (and I don't know if they are), Paul Ryan knows more than he's saying. Hatch is next in line. He's a fossil, but he beats the alternatives.

Trump is extremely high maintenance, and keeping him in prison would be an extravagant PITA. Just let him stay in his tower and hang out with Barron. He could still have Putin over for visits.
