Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
How did it happen. Not really looking to have an argument or troll. It just seems amusing and odd to me a benign McDonald's character created to get baby boomers to eat more junk food in the 80's would all of a sudden become the avatar of a political movement. Any chance the Hamburglar or grimace become political mascots?

Maybe it's because Real American White Men walked on the moon, golfed, did doughnuts in a dune buggy, and planted an American flag there. We own the moon.

Actually no one owns the moon, it's a signed treaty with countries who own spacecraft. It'd be a huge international legal mess if any one party tried to claim title to moon property.
