I Sometimes Forget

I sometimes forget that the people who inhabit this forum are the same people I encounter on a daily basis. The dregs of our community.
The same people who I put up with in traffic every morning on the way to work. The people who take too long to accelerate after getting the green turn arrow, meaning 2 cars in the back will not be able to make it through. The sorry housewives, with ugly minivans, and peeling BRYC soccer ball stickers.
Those obnoxious, who I work with. Chatting quietly on their cell phones. Making their pathetic weekend plans with their pathetic friends and spouses. Some speaking with the school nurse or secretary. Checking in on their precious darlings. Then stopping for a break. To play a game on their computer or phone.
The far out of high school acne-faced rejects still working the checkout counter at the local retail establishment. Asking me for my Dick's, or CVS bonus card. Which I never have, and never will.
The fat men at the gym sweating through a white t-shirt. Out of shape women on the stair master. Arms pressed stiff on the rails, easing the climb, and thus negating the activity. Young girls more concerned with matching their Pink brand hoody sweatshirt with their Nike Shox than doing any workout worthwhile or beneficial. The women who just need to lose another 8 pounds. Then, they would be pretty, like they used to be. Any finally get a boyfriend.
The bartender. Coming up on thirty, with no real life plans in site. Other than calling people boss, and asking, do you want that in a short or tall glass. And coddling conversations with the regular drunks, who, they really do not like or enjoy the company of in the slightest.
The man riding his strange bike down the road. The one where you sit back, and legs face forward, horizontally. Maybe with a red flag. So everyone can see him coming.
It is these people who I sometimes forget. The painfully normal, mediocre, and lackluster who make up our general population. And that post there days away, here on Fairfax Underground.

Elavil is an extremely old drug with major side effects, which is no longer prescribed except for the most severe cases of depression. Most people have never even heard of this medication, which makes me think you have personal experience with it.
