I eat chicken noodle soup with a little bread and some fruit a couple days prior, it sucks but it makes the cleansing process go much better. I drink 7up to keep my blood sugar up.

I start drinking the Gatorade mixture at 4. I have to drink 64 ounces in 2 hours. I think I'll be on the toilet for a couple of hours. I'll have plenty of time for FFXU play by play.

Fortunately did the gatorade and dulcolax prep. Still tough to swallow the last glass. Worst part for me was the insatiable hunger the next morning before the procedure. Never been that hungry in my life before. They'll tell you to not eat too much or anything greasy or heavy afterwards, but fuck that. Chow down on something you like. Like another poster said - it will be so damn delicious.

Sometimes you can have a lot of gas and cramps after a colonoscopy. You can have diarrhea and messy farts if you eat that day. Beware-Particularly if you are in a car or restaurant or sitting on a white couch....ha ha. Stick to clear liquids until you are sure you are OK.
It helps to buy some butt cream with "Caine" in the name or list of ingredients to use during the prep. A little late......

I went to a Vietnamese restaurant and got a couple spring rolls and pho ga. Man that was delicious. We ordered pizza layer and I went to bed early.
You're supposed to get one at 50. I'm younger than that but my Dr recommended it due to some family history and piece of mind.
Dr. told me had they found any polyps they would be back in 3 years, they didn't so it will be 5. He said that gives enough time for polyps to grow but not long enough to become cancerous.
I can post pics of my colon if anyone is interested.
