Police strike across 30 Brazilian cities has left a Purge like situation. 80+ people killed since Saturday. Numerous rapes, car jackings, etc.

The reason no news is carrying this story? Because Brazil is nearly a gunless country, except it seems the thugs had no problem getting them. Now with police protection the good people of Brazil have no way to protect themselves.

Im not against the 2nd amendment. My point is Brasil is essentially a lawless country. It wouldn't matter whether they have rights to bear arms or not. Brazil is a corrupt and lawless nation. France would have been a better example to use of strict gun controls having no effect on crime.

The issue of gun control has risen to an extreme concern following the events in Brazil, where armed thugs and assailants are shooting at bystanders and passerby's for no reason. Many of the deaths compiled in Espirito Santo have been cold blooded, where assailants are simply shooting anybody that is outside. A family of three told Political Outsource they haven't gone outside in two days, fearful of what may happen if they do.

(actually it's pretty simple: brazil is a top down dictator power struggle who use police to enforce any law that makes gov. workers richer. it's called "a police state", or more succinctly, "facism")

that is the only way you get uber rich, vacationing gov workers, and people living from bags. a police state which points guns at "anyone who is getting screwed by gov".

Can you imagine this happening in Japan? or Connecticut? Nope.
