Why is Trump avoiding holding press conferences? Is Trump trying to hide stuff?

He just did a hour long interview with the hands down best debate moderator Chris Wallace who asked pointed questions for an hour. Plus he tweets news every day.

Why should he talk to discredited news outlets that were caught corroborating with the DNC? Those fake news outlets are done.

An "interview" with pre-arranged questions if FAR different than holding a press conference where ANY question can be asked from ANY reporter.
