The Case Against Canada
Date: September 11, 2009 08:18PM

It's cold
They call ham bacon
Some of them speak French
Alanis Morrisette
Their flag is gay
They need to ask the Queen permission to do certain things
Their zip codes have letters in them
Hockey is their national sport
Their football uses only three downs
Most cool Canadians (William Shatner, Brian Adams, Pamela Anderson) choose not to live there
Molson is good, but not great
They are too nice and polite

pot is not decriminalized. I know people who live in Canada and have visited Montreal and Toronto. Its just not that big a deal if you are caught with it as its viewed as a medical problem and not some horrible plague.

Thanks for that. I'm glad others agree with my perspective on our "friends" to the North.

This is the kind of vile propaganda they have flooded our country with...

I find it funny when Canucks try to form Street Gangs. I wonder how they feel they can control the streets, when they can't even control the Wildlife.

Thank you WTL. While I suspect that at least some of your post is tongue in cheek, I have been telling about the great Canadian threat for years.

Canada is an international hotbed of terrorism - more so than other countries we have invaded.

We will go half way round the world to spread democracy and freeze out a tiny little nation 90 miles from our shore - but those that are but a few feet from us we ignore.

With all the talk about terrorists sneaking into our country - it is far more likely and almost a certainty if they came it would be through Canada and not Mexico.

ive never heard of alpha flight but if you look, it's a marvel comic and was invented by a naturalized american(formerly british canadian).

the fact that the characters are canadian is irrelevant, i'm taking about comics MADE in canadian.

Captain Canuck, which came out in the late 70s, was probably the closest thing to a popular Canadian-made comic superhero...

There is also Canada's involvement in CIA MK-ULTRA experiments!

Canadian experiments

The experiments were exported to Canada when the CIA recruited Scottish physician Donald Ewen Cameron, creator of the "psychic driving" concept, which the CIA found particularly interesting. Cameron had been hoping to correct schizophrenia by erasing existing memories and reprogramming the psyche. He commuted from Albany, New York to Montreal every week to work at the Allan Memorial Institute of McGill University and was paid $69,000 from 1957 to 1964 to carry out MKULTRA experiments there. In addition to LSD, Cameron also experimented with various paralytic drugs as well as electroconvulsive therapy at thirty to forty times the normal power. His "driving" experiments consisted of putting subjects into drug-induced coma for weeks at a time (up to three months in one case) while playing tape loops of noise or simple repetitive statements. His experiments were typically carried out on patients who had entered the institute for minor problems such as anxiety disorders and postpartum depression, many of whom suffered permanently from his actions.[27] His treatments resulted in victims' incontinence, amnesia, forgetting how to talk, forgetting their parents, and thinking their interrogators were their parents.[28] His work was inspired and paralleled by the British psychiatrist Dr William Sargant at St Thomas' Hospital, London, and Belmont Hospital, Surrey, who was also involved in the Intelligence Services and who experimented extensively on his patients without their consent, causing similar long-term damage.[29] Dr. Cameron and Dr. Sargant are the only two identified Canadian experimenters, but the MKULTRA file makes reference to many other unnamed physicians who were recruited by the CIA.

It was during this era that Cameron became known worldwide as the first chairman of the World Psychiatric Association as well as president of the American and Canadian psychiatric associations. Cameron had also been a member of the Nuremberg medical tribunal in 1946-47.[30

In Canada, the issue took much longer to surface, becoming widely known in 1984 on a CBC news show, The Fifth Estate. It was learned that not only had the CIA funded Dr. Cameron's efforts, but perhaps even more shockingly, the Canadian government was fully aware of this, and had later provided another $500,000 in funding to continue the experiments. This revelation largely derailed efforts by the victims to sue the CIA as their U.S. counterparts had, and the Canadian government eventually settled out of court for $100,000 to each of the 127 victims. None of Dr. Cameron's personal records of his involvement with MKULTRA survive, since his family destroyed them after his death from a heart attack while mountain climbing in 1967.[33]

I believe that RESton's point is that I am not a reliable source because I have never lived in Canada. I would guess that malt vinegar is a more popular French fries condiment in Canada than in the states. However, I can't confirm the extent of its popularity. I do not eat out much when I am in Ottawa.

Proves my point exactly, the Wildlife Gangs still run the land.

I am surprised though, Nova Scotia? Wtf, you might expect that sort of thing in Alberta or Saskatchewan, but Nova Scotia? That's crazy as hell. Also, that has to be one of the first people I've ever heard about being killed by Coyotes. Wolves? Yeah, they've killed plenty of people, but Coyotes? Damn, they must've been extremely hungry, or she somehow stumbled upon a den with pups inside. Then again, rabies might also be a factor.

Here's a College Student who learned all too well that you never travel in Saskatchewan without a Firearm, nor without a Group of people:

He was later found eaten by a pack of Wolves.

Oh yeah, Wolves are bastards. They like to mock and play with people before they finish them off. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't take photos of themselves trying on his clothes after offing him.
