note how they describe his illness, but won't name it, just say what it was complicated by. i though they had medications that prolong the lives of people who refuse to use condoms, then expect the rest of us to pay $15,000 a year for meds to enable their irresponsibility?

Depends how far the disease has progressed and any underlying conditions. HIV on its own isn't a death sentence it once was. You can live a long healthy life with disease management, but if you develop cancer or some other serious illness, it complicates things. Same thing with AIDS.
