He has a lot of property in NYC and DC - they are hard to insure against acts of war so he would stand to lose too much from a launch. If he had really thought he would win Im sure he would have sold everything and developed under-mountain facilities in the Idaho for friends and families and of course profit.

He is too exposed financially to launch. So that is good.

Donald ran as an isolationist that wanted to restrict American military engagements and interventions.

Hillary ran as a warhawk and had a proven record of engaging in superfluous military adventures including Libya, which is currently in anarchy and civil war without GAddafi.
