Texas Now A "Toss Up"

The last time Texas went for a Democrat for President was Jimmy Carter in 1976, which as the last hurrah for "the solid south," the block of southern states Dems used to rely on because of Southern disdain for the "Party of Lincoln." According to Real Clear Politics, Texas is now a "toss up" state. If Texas goes for Hillary, the GOP is officially toast as a national party. Appealing to ignorant racists is not a strategy for success. Trump will have turned the GOP into the 21st century version of the Whig Party.

Once again, it's not a toss up. That's libtard dribbling based on one small small poll that was included in the RCP average and, since there aren't many, it skews the result. Business Insider and the rest are full of shit. Sorry.

Real Clear Politics has Texas as a toss up because the latest polls have Hillary within the margin of error. Fact is both Texas and Georgia are on their way to becoming swing states like Virginia and North Carolina have become. They are becoming more diverse, more urban and more college educated. By the 2020s, both Texas and Georgia will be Purple States. In the meantime, the GOP is being led by a xenophobic, sexist racist, who will only accelerate that process.
