Yes and you'll get pulled over by every police or fishing game warden that sees your boat.
The last thing I want is every officer on the water pulling me over to do registration checks and then a safety check. Especially after a day partying with people on my boat.
I got pulled over once because I was missing a letter on the front. It washed off. The guy thought I lifted some state work boat number.
