Politifacts is owned and operated by the Tampa Bay Times, a major left-wing paper.

It samples GOP statements almost 2 to 1 over democrat statements.

It's previous director (Bill Adair - a lifelong lefty journalist) is on record saying their findings are not hard facts and should not be taken that way.
