"The Upshot’s elections model suggests that Hillary Clinton is favored to win the presidency, based on the latest state and national polls. A victory by Mr. Trump remains quite possible: Mrs. Clinton’s chance of losing is greater than the probability that an N.B.A. player will miss a free throw."

I don't give probability models 98 days out any value unless they are above 85 percent chance for 2 weeks straight.

These models split or favored Trump before th3 Democratic Convention.

Yes, Gerry, they're predictive models. That means that as circumstances change, each candidate's probability of winning also changes.
