I worked at a porno store for a while, and it's pretty grim. I never understood the porno parodies niche. Who wants to laugh while they're jerking off? I don't think that's even possible. Who buys this stuff? There were a few regulars--mostly the big-time porn freaks who keep up with everything that's happening in the porn world--but they're a rare breed.


If a porn store has poppers, then you know it's the place to be.

Do they still have porno stores? With all the free porno you can get on the internet, why would anyone pay for it?

You do want to avoid subscribing to any pay site, though. Once they have your card number, they never let you go, even when you tell them to unsubscribe you. I had a buddy who racked up all sorts of credit card debt on those things. He kept unsubscribing, but they kept charging his card. I had to tell him to report his cards lost so they'd give him new numbers and the pay sites would get a DECLINE. Then I had to walk him through disputing the charges he could. Some of them were so old, he couldn't dispute them, so he had to pay them, anyhow.

I finally got him all straightened out. He paid off the ones he had to pay. Once he was all straightened out, what did he do? Go and subscribe to more porno pay sites. He's back in trouble, again, and I can't help him.

The hinterlands of the US have seedy adult businesses all over, and Florida is filled with them. But I had no idea there were even that kind of businesses around here, apart from the "naughty" stores on Rockville Pike and Franconia Road, and that weird "topless steakhouse" near Mikes in Springfield.

Personally I have no use for porn whatsoever. People who want it can buy that crap on-line, mail order it. I wouldn't be upset if the stores and "gentleman's clubs" got banned in Fairfax County.

Only one guy can understand comedy like this OP, Miz, keep up the good work.
