Scotland mulling second independence referendum. N. Ireland could follow suit.

Scotland's first minister has said a second independence referendum is "highly likely" after the UK voted to leave the EU. Northern Ireland could follow suit and if successful, limit the Kingdom to just England and Cornwall.

you realize during times of deep poverty, england took parts of both ...

and there are still large cities fill with english / great britain citizens right?

it's not just a matter of whether scottland or ireland or who has a parliament that votes on laws applying to scottland and england

there are cities full of british isle persons involved in "such agreements and lack thereof"

now england claimed they gave charity to the poor during those periods that they had to become involved (and lead the areas and collect the taxes and rule, since it was their aid money) - since the area could not feed itself (ie, the potato famine)

obviously, there was not a system of "huge loans" between countries back then - they would ether get englands crops by takeover or get nothing but possible takeover. back then those were the choices, militaries did not give each other big lull times and big breaks - or at least couldn't be expected to.

Just a sign of the times. Humans are sick of terrorists (muslims) and liberal policies in general.

Liberalism is dead and humans rule!

Hence why you conservafucks have been gloating all day about the Brexit decision. For why exactly I'm still not sure seeing as Britain isn't your country and the vote will effectively hurt the global economy. If you aren't sure what that means, that means tough times here at home too. That means the minimum wage job you and your friend that lives in the trailer park down the street will have your work hours cut.

If it was certain that Trump would lead to the north dividing from the southern welfare states I would vote for him.

God I hope Scotland can get out of any association with the UK. The UK is headed for disaster fast.

Hopefully Scotland can avoid it.

Scotland cannot pay their own way. they need to collect welfare from somebody. if they leave the UK, which they recently had the chance to do, they will need to immediately join the EU and get hooked up. Lots of English hoped they would leave last time.
