Questions for Libs regarding Brexit

So conservatives seem to support the vote and liberals seem distraught over it.

Question 1: Why do Americans really care one way or the other? Is it because Obama wanted them to stay and the cons are happy he lost and the libs are sad that he lost? Is this really about Obama?

Conservatives seem to embrace personal liberty by backing the brexit with power and decision-making being closer to the people of Britain rather than in Brussels. Liberals seem to decry the loss of a key member of a centralized power.

Question 2: Do liberals really want some global authority having centralized power to make decisions about their lives? If so, why? Why would you think this authority is going to be benevolent (or perhaps you don't and that is why)?

I don't get it.

You mean establishment republicans, not conservatives. Conservatives are against the establishment right now. That's why Trump and Cruz were the last two standing and establishment flunkies like Bush, Graham, Rubio, Christie, etc went down in flames.

Because it scares the shit out of the libs. Travis Smiley said today that the first think he thought of when he heard the results was that this is a bad sign of Hillary's chances.

Libtards feel the need to be taken care of. They are women and beta males. They see the ruling elite as their parents, who will give them what they need and decide the hard choices in life for them. Libtards are pathetic and should never be allowed close to a voting booth.

Question 1: I think that WITH CERTAIN LIMITATIONS each nation should be free to decide its course of action on its own. Arguing about how it may impact us, what course of action they choose is best for us, or what we should do depending on what course they choose is another matter.

Question #2: You are falling into the conservative think trap that has been around since at lease John Birch Society days. Liberals on the whole have no more interest in having an extranational organization telling the U.S. what it must do than Conservatives do. Where liberals and conservatives differ is in the details. We have the same debate internally. Despite the rhetoric conservatives like having the Federal government reign in states on some matters just as liberals like having the Federal government impose a national agenda on the states in others.

You pose that you have 2 questions and then just make 2 statements. What's up with that?
