Democrats abandon the sit in campaign

Democrats gave up on the "sit in" campaign in hopes of forcing a vote on gun control. They felt that perhaps they were sending the wrong message on the necessity of obeying rules of the committee, the Republicans being in the majority make the rules which annoyed many sitters. They had no problem though when they were the majority making the rules though, another case of Democratic selective behavior.

I heard when the other 25 gun owners on the floor joined Charlie Rangle in waving his gun in the air and chanting "We deserve our guns but Mr. and Mrs. America don't".......

They had decided they got their talking point across and needed a little vacation.
