A dutch woman in the UAE was convicted of "sexual intercourse outside of marriage" when she reported that an Arab man spiked her drink at a club and raped her. Her jail time was suspended on condition she pay an $824 fine and consents to being deported immediately after. The rapist was sentenced to 100 lashes for the same charge, and an extra 40 lashes for imbibing.
