I will say the similarities between Christians and Muslims on hating gays is striking. Kudos to the Christians for just overall disgust and hatred while our Muslim brothers seem to want to go a bit further on their feelings toward homosexuals.

Christians hate the sin but love the sinner. Christians understand everybody is a sinner including themselves. The only thing Christians are against is being forced to approve of sin.
